I am painting a scene of the Salt River In Nature's Valley, Plettenberg Bay.  Please view the video clips and slideshow of the painting as it develops below.

This stunning spot was reached after a short hike along the coastal  beaches, coves and over sections of rocks… But can also be reached from above through the forest.  The Salt River winds down gently to the sea and forms a lovely lagoon, calm and clear turquoise water perfect for a dip.

This scene was captured one Winter afternoon in late July.  Dramatic elements of the colour of the water set against the cliffs and trees and white beach inspired this painting.
